**YARN RESTRICTIONS** Due to recent customs restrictions, we are not allowed to ship items that are made with green yarn, black yarn, or have any political/symbolic messaging. Colors such as yellow, orange, pink, and purple are the safest options.

Donate Knitted and Crocheted Items

If you know how to knit or crochet, consider making a handmade item that will be delivered to those affected by the conflict. Here are some suggestions on what to make, along with links to free patterns:

• hats, scarves, socks

  • The average age in Gaza is 18; consider making some for preemies and children.

• blankets

• dishcloths

Blanket Notes

Making an entire blanket takes a lot of time and resources. Knit/crochet an 8"x8" square, and we will sew it with other squares to make a full blanket. See patterns for squares below.

Extra supplies are always needed to keep making hand-knitted goods for those suffering from the conflict. Here is a list of our current needs:

  • any kind, color, weight

  • does not need to be a full ball, can be leftover scrap yarn from a previous project

• knitting needles

  • any size

• crochet hooks

  • any size

• cardboard boxes

• shipping/packaging tape
